The field has been set for the 34th Heinbuch Classic high school basketball tournament. Sixteen teams from around the province will vie for the coveted championship. The list of entrants is posted in the ‘schools’ tab. The Heinbuch committee welcomes Fergus Centre Wellington DHS, Stoney Creek Saltfleet DHS and Toronto St. Michael’s CS bringing to 112 the number of schools who have participated over the tournament’s 34 years.
All games will be held at Conestoga College Athletic and Recreation Centre which is located close to Highway 401 ( Exit 275 ). Sixteen games will be played on Friday, November 24 beginning at 8:45am and continuing all day. Play will resume on Saturday beginning at 8:45 am with the Gold Division Championship game at 8:15pm. See the ‘draw’ tab. There will not be an admission fee. However, there will be an opportunity to donate to the Heinbuch Classic Bursary program which sponsors deserving Grade 9 students to attend a Summer basketball camp.
There will be a parking fee on Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Park in Lot 14 (follow the signs). Then when you enter the Athletic Centre go to the desk, give your licence number and pay $3.50 which covers you for the day. Parking after 4:00pm Friday and all day Saturday is free and other lots can be used.

* Go to first stop light (1/4 mile).
* Turn right onto Conestoga College Blvd.

* The first building on your right (after an empty field) is the Recreation Centre.
