History

The first four years ( 1984 – 1987 ) The Classic was an eight team Tournament which featured four different champions:

Toronto Runnymede C.I.
Niagara Falls Stamford C.I.
Etobicoke Martingrove C.I.
St. Catharines Governor Simcoe H.S.

In 1988 the Tournament was changed to its present format as a sixteen team Tournament. Since then 114 different schools from 45 different cities have participated.
